I do no paid advertising and have relied completely on word of mouth for over twelve years. About 80% of my trip participants are repeat clients. Rather than blow my own horn with their quotes of praise, I'll let those two facts serve as my version of a collective testimonial. My groups are small, almost never more than 8 participants, and the trips are designed to minimize driving time while optimizing field time and seeing, enjoying and learning about the birds, general natural history, and culture of each destination. The pace is relaxed, you get much more than bird listing, trip costs are usually much less than comparable trips with larger companies, and I make my best effort to support local conservation efforts.
